Exploring Food and Wine in Lisbon and Alentejo
Since October 2016, I've had the unique opportunity to explore Portugal's amazing yet underrated food and wine scene. It's incredible how there's so much talent and creativity in such a small radius!
I'm extremely grateful to take these experiences back to the U.S. to share with travel show participants around the country. My latest presentation was actually titled "Portugal: How to Enjoy Europe's Hidden Gem Like a Bon Vivant" (Philadelphia Travel & Adventure Show 2017). The timing for this could not have been better!
Again, I would like to thank everyone who has supported and contributed to making this project a huge success. So far, I've visited 25 vineyards, 4 wine resorts, 26 restaurants and 5 food and wine trade shows. I've had the opportunity to meet some of Portugal's most creative winemakers, master chefs, local culinary superstars and food and wine critics.
